DEMOLITION !!!

The old Lukoil is being torn down. Though we don't know what's going in, we have heard that it might be a new, bigger Starbucks with a drive-thru. But that might be incorrect, since we also heard a rumor going around that a Starbucks might be going into the parking lot of the Springfield Mall.  That one is also rumored to have a drive-thru.

They have been moving quickly at the site.  It has been closed less than one month.

   

Meanwhile, the new Wawa is also moving along quickly.

Progress At The Wawa

There has been some new progress at the new Wawa site. The steel frame has started and they have a crane. Although the ground work was slow, the building is going to be going up much faster, and most likely achieve its spring-opening goal.

Look at these pictures from Saturday February 11.  If you look closely you can see some of the steel beams.  Also, there is a new sidewalk on Providence Road.

CLOSED!

It is February, and the Lukoil is now closed.  If we hear more about what is coming next, we will let you know.  A bigger Starbucks?
