Some Surprising Population Facts (From Promenade at Granite Run)
There are a lot more people living in our area then you would think. These facts are taken from the Promenade at Granite Run. Within a three mile radius of Granite Run, there are 41,401 people living there. In a five mile radius, there are 142,387 people! Both of these numbers will increase soon because of the apartment buildings coming in. The amount of vehicles on Baltimore Pike in front of Granite Run is 38,000 per day. These are some facts that you probably didn't know.

Just think about how traffic will increase after all the apartments at Granite Run and the condominiums in Media are built and filled. It will be so hard to travel on Middletown Road, Pennell Road and Route 1 between them that it will keep many, many people (like me) from traveling in that direction! Think of how hard it will be for an emergency ambulance to get to Riddle Hospital!! Development is NOT always good.
